a little bit about me
Hi, I'm Manika. I'm a UX/UI designer with a background in
marketing and multimedia arts. My experience has taken
me through different areas of design, from creating
marketing campaigns and visual communications to
exploring user-centered digital experiences.
Creativity has always been a constant in my life,
just in different forms. Over the years, I've
explored painting, illustration, photography, and
graphic design. Each has taught me something
different about the way I think and create. I love fully
immersing myself in learning new techniques, experimenting with different mediums, and creating something from nothing.

Understanding people and how they interact with the world around them is what initially
drew me to marketing. My transition to UX/UI has given me a new way to build on that interest
by combining creative thinking with problem-solving. I enjoy looking beyond how something appears to understand how it works, how people experience it, and how it could work better.
Outside of my professional work, I'm usually finding something new to make, learn, or figure out. Whether I'm painting or building something from scratch, I almost always start with a plan that changes along the way. Sometimes a new idea comes to mind, and other times something just doesn't work the way I expected. I've learned to enjoy those moments because they push me to experiment, rethink my approach, and find solutions I wouldn't have considered otherwise. The finished result may not look exactly how I originally imagined it, but that's part of what I enjoy about creating.
